Crossing Your Jordan
For women's conferences and overnight retreats Jenny offers a three-part series on her signature lesson, Crossing Your Jordan. In this message women will discover that a life of abundance is available to them
–regardless of personal circumstance
–through
a relationship with Christ. In each of the following sessions Jenny will
From Session One:
- Share her personal testimony, including her struggle to believe God for a life of
abundance after her daughter’s death
-
Relate a woman's journey into her promised life of abundance to that of the Israelites' journey into the Promised Land
-
Encourage women to identify their own personal Jordan–that which keeps them from embracing God's promise of abundant life. The time of self-reflection provides an excellent opportunity for table-leaders to guide small groups through discussion.
From Session Two:
From Session Three:
-
Lead women through a time of "crossing over" during which they will
select 5-6 key verses of Scripture to construct a “bridge of truth," along which they may travel by faith across their Jordan River into a life of abundance in the Lord
-
Equip women for future battles in their promised life of
abundance by adorning them with the armor of God

For Women's Groups:
Crossing Your Jordan
Similar to the three-part series described above, in this message women will discover that a life of abundance is available to them
–regardless of personal circumstance
–through a relationship with Christ. After briefly sharing her personal testimony, Jenny relates a woman's promised life of abundance to that of the Old Testament Promised Land. Through this message, Jenny leads women to
- Identify their personal Jordan–that which keeps them from embracing God's promise of abundant life
- Explore six key biblical truths which proved paramount to Jenny's renewed relationship with the Lord
- Embrace their promised life of abundance by choosing to walk by faith along a path of God's Word across their Jordan River into an extraordinary relationship with God

For Mom's Groups:
The Abundant Mom Life
A spin-off from Crossing Your Jordan, in this message Jenny empowers moms to embrace their promised life of abundance while in the throes (or sometimes throw-up) of motherhood by renewing them with truths such as the following:
-
Psalm 127:3–5: Children are a
reward . . . they are a gift from the Lord.
-
1
Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink, or [wipe noses
and bottoms], whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
-
Colossians
3:23: Work as though you are working for the Lord, not for
[little] people.
-
Proverbs
14:4: Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox
for a large harvest. This verse reminds Jenny that without
children, her house might would stay clean; but it
is because of her children that she reaps a large harvest of love.
Women will leave this event inspired to embrace the high calling of motherhood.
Rose-Colored Glasses
Inspired by her surviving twin daughter's rose-colored prescription glasses, Jenny demonstrates to moms that it is possible to always see life in a positive and pretty way—through rose-colored
glasses—by learning to trust and obey
the Lord in all circumstances.
Homeschooling Discussion Panel
As a mom who once swore-off the idea of homeschooling but who is now in her second year of teaching her children from home, Jenny would make a great addition to a home-school discussion panel.
For Grief Support Groups:
Hope to Cope
Appropriate for secular-based grief support groups, in this message Jenny candidly shares how she discovered sustainable hope for coping with her daughter's death through her faith in God.
In Christ Alone
In this message Jenny shares with grieving audiences why our hope is found in Christ and in Christ alone.
The Gift of Christmas
Those enduring hardship find Christmas one of the most difficult seasons to endure. In this message Jenny enlightens audience members as to the gifts bestowed upon them through the birth of Christ. Hearers will leave empowered with reasons to celebrate Christmas in spite of the trials and testings of life. (Note: with minor alterations, this message is appropriate for all audiences at Christmastime)
Jenny also welcomes the opportunity to develop new messages from Scripture to coordinate with the heart of your event.
